No More!

*yawn* wah still feeling damn sleepy man. came back from SIT test yesterday and wahooo there will be no more outfield trainings for me! at least for the rest of the time in BMT. it rained thruout the 3 days and i used the same set of uniform all the time! smelled real bad with all the mud plus the rain. we were allowed to change to a clean set of uniform but i didnt see a point in doing that when you know that it'll rain and you'll get drenched in mud yet again the next day. this coming week will be going for range and i will get to enjoy 5 days off due to the public holidays the following week! yeah!

had a scare yesterday as well while cleaning the bloody M16. everything was so rushy and as i was oiling my rifle i discovered i lost the washer (small part of rifle)! i panicked obviously cos that would mean 7 extras plus a few confinements as they deem fit. so i searched and searched and still couldnt find the stupid thing. stressed up like crazy man and then one of my fren came up to me and said "eh sham, u lost ur washer ah? i also lost leh!" inside of my i went like "phew! lucky got pple in same boat!" haha...i could actually heave a sigh of relief for a moment sia. but everything's cool now. manage to find a replacement at the army shop near my place. lucky lucky!

i am having cravings for alot of thing ever since i have been eating alot of combat rations for the past 2 weeks. shall go for food hunt soon man! come anyone interesting in joining?? haha...yesterday went simpang for supper and like having reunion sia down there. met my secondary school friend plus a whole bunch of poly pple plus val and her group of girls who were dressed to kill, literally, and even my sis came down haha. crowded like wat man the place and came back ard 3am which would mean that i was awake for at least 23 hours at that point in time. tired and sleepy to the max man and i was like falling asleep while driving sia. tried damn hard to keep awake man and i just conked out upon hitting the bed and comfy pillows. come to think of it, it is indeed a scary thought falling asleep while driving man.

i have been home only ard 10 times ever since i got enlisted but i think i grew closer to my family members especially my sis. at times, she would just sms me asking how i am doing over in camp and stuffs. boy was i surprised cos seriously didnt anticipate anything like it. and nothing beats seeing your family smiling once u step into the house saying "hey! you are back!", when before this, no one could care much about where you go and what you do every other day. it really gives me this warmth feelin which have been missing for ages.

also began to appreciate every little thing more than i used to and not taking things for granted. just lying down on my bed is considered heavenly nowadays. the army, where boys become men haha...how true. learn how to be independent out there to survive and appreciating every single thing that comes ur way. oh well shall go off for now. wanna send this stupid phone for servicing. if kena pay wah sian.

P.S. Leopard crawl sucks!
