I don't quite understand how ah-peks talk on the phone. They are literally shouting into it man. On a peaceful morning in a pretty empty bus going towards the interchange, the fine silence of the whole trip was broken by a VERY VERY LOUD conversation by an ah-pek on his handphone. His "HELLO!! AH-SENG AH?!?!" shooked the whole world man. A dead man could have came back to life, shocked by his "HELLO!!" and to think I could hear what he was talking with earphones plugged in both my ears. Poor ah-seng could have gone deaf just by listening to his shoutings ah. And if that happens, he would have to shout even louder now cos ah-seng now really can't hear. Haiyo!
Time for a "Speak in Moderated Volume Campaign" to educate ah-peks to speak softly since Singapore is really good at organising campaigns which sometimes really don't matter.
The shifting's almost done. So instead of the ever favourite backdrop, I'm getting cable cars and ships as a view. Come to think of it, the merlion's still there haa only larger than the original. Well not that you would understand what I'm talking about anyways haa.
