Mothers

I was on my way home on the train last night and making their presence felt was a family of 3 consisting of a mother and her 2 kids, a girl and a boy. Looking at the mum, she wore a weary and tired image which says, "Shoot me please!!". She seemed to have lost all hope and energy to control her kids as the 2 of them were running havoc on whatever little space they had. Shouting screaming jumping like nothing really mattered in life anymore.

When they finally tire out, another thing happened. The girl vomited on the seat of the train. It wasn't a lot nor disgusting but the thought of sitting at that seat the next day turned me off. The fact that I was tired made me even more irritated but it got me thinking. What if I had a children like them?! THAT scared me.

For a moment, I thought it'll just be me and my wife. Not that I hate kids, but just that I don't want my future wife to be like that woman, all tired and drained. And perhaps life would be happier and better without having them? Well, it's just a thought anyways. Haa.

On a more positive note, let's pay a tribute to all mums out there for being who they are and doing what they do best which is of course, being Mothers. So just show them some love for they've sacrificed a lot to bring us to where we are today. Well I'm sure that woman sacrificed a whole lot in the train hurhur.
