2 nights ago, Henry sent over a file which made me laugh until now whenever I think about it. It was a survey for a marketing campaign to create awareness on a particular vitamin-C product. The survey was done by a group of 5 students back in 2003. When I looked at the first question, it didn't affect me that much until after some time when I realise that it was the stupidest question someone could ever post to anyone in Singapore and the fact that it was grammatically incorrect made me laugh until peng. Haa.
Q1. Where do you live?
a) North
b) South
c) East
d) West
Apparently the questions were crafted by 2 of the student, who are smart (haha) but look dumb now. They are non other than the wonderful Edric Tan and yours truly, Sham Ong! Haa! It was actually for our marketing project back then and omg it brought back tonnes of laughs and memories. Henry went like, "You know I always ask my students to draft out constructive questions but now I truly understand why. Back then, we ourselves were dumb." Oh how so true. What a difference 4 years can make.
Anyway went to Q-bar last night with AK, to celebrate Ben's "surprise" birthday. Considering most of us came late, it wasn't that much of a surprise haa. Quite a chillout place I must say. An area which is caught smack in the outskirts of Boat Quay overlooking a busy area yet away from it made it pretty relaxing. Pics in some camera somewhere, load it in sometime. Dropped by Zouk thereafter cos' Huzee being Huzee wanted to swipe the card and shitloads it was packed with truckloads of people getting drunk outside! It was a Wednesday and an eve of a public holiday so yeah understandable.
At 2am, people were still queuing to get into Velvet, like wtf? I don't understand why people still want to queue when they know that it's packed like shit inside. Apparently you have to even queue up to go to the guys toilet at winebar. Like neh. So we went on to get some 5 cents teh-tarik (yes 5 freaking cents!) and I was back home. I'd say, good day! Time for a jog at good old reservoir now. Kbye!
