There was a boy who had a future ahead of him. His prospect looked promising except for the fact he came from a broken family. Even then, what could go wrong.
Sometime in his early stages of adulthood his dad passed on. On his demise, he left behind a substantial amount of money for his son in his will. He was never close to his mum and when his mum remarried and relocated, his life started going downhill.
He got into debts with illegal lenders and got involved with drugs. Due to his addiction, he was caught and was sent to rehab for a few years.
Upon release, he had nowhere to go. His house is being hounded by gangs for payments. He has lost all his friends. His relatives gave up on him.
You are his last resort. He called you looking for shelter and money. You were the best of childhood friends. You are his closest family.
