One Down

My close buddy got married over the weekends. Known him for 14 years now and the whole group of us, we practically grew up together, from doing the stupidest things as kids, up till setting up a family. How far we've come that it all feels surreal really.

I guess he has set the ball rolling and I do foresee a few who will begin to follow suit. 2 of them are already waiting in queue for their turn within the next year or so. So yeah, one down, and many more to go! lol.

And so you think an all guys group are not capable of doing sweet things? Who says? Check this out.

Ah, not bad right. In any case, if you are planning to get married and you are reading this somehow, then do give the link below a visit. See if it interests you. :-)

about Proposals & Weddings

Ok this must be one of the hottest topics to be discussing about when people hit a quarter of century old. You know you are at it when at family gatherings, this topic is being used as an ice-breaker. Your relatives will automatically ask you when you're getting married. The normal response would be a graceful smile and go, "ooohh not yet..." or some of us would shy away from the topic and make ourselves scarce after that.

Amongst friends as well, a lot are tying the knot within the next 2 years or so. Discussion about where, when, how, what theme, etc. are all being listed out at every other meet-ups. It is also then that some would discuss their own ideals of a beautiful wedding and then there are also others who share ideas from "someone else's" wedding. Exciting stuff? Don't get me wrong here. I'm not against wedding per se but truth be told, I feel that weddings are over-rated. All that planning and money that goes into it seriously can be mentally and monetary draining to one.

Just now, I heard of the gf's friend who is only 22 yrs old, is planning to get married next year. My mind immediately went, "WHY!?" At that age I personally would like to enjoy my youth and break into the world. Getting married would have been the last thing on my mind really. But this girl accepted the proposal. Admirable I must say for I know I can't, and perhaps I won't ever know.

But then again, marriage is a union of souls. Something amazing. It is a magical thing especially when the couple are each other's first love. And it is moments and love stories like these that make getting married worth the while. It is definitely something worth celebrating, don't you think? Just some thoughts. As for me, well... we'll see. :-)

Whatever the case and whatever your ideals are, if you're getting married, obviously you need to capture those moments. Afterall, you're only getting married once in your lifetime. So click on the link below and be sure that in your beautiful days ahead, you have something to look back on to relieve those moments once again. :-) Cheers!
