Seasons in the Sun.

16 long wks finally came to an end. all those shit that i have been thru. all the times spent back in Viper. All the friendships that we nurtured. All the memories...


and so there u go, the Viper contigent marching in. pic a bit small lah ah but bear wif it cos if enlarge will become abit too big. lazy to find the suitable size haha.


formed up nicely in front of the parade. after which the big shots came and we had to stand there singing "Stand up for Singapore" and the infantry song. for once the infantry song moved me, especially the part where the lyrics went like "we will protect the lives of every Singaporeans and for Singapore we'll give our lives", upon looking at the whole lot of civilians in front of me. anyway after that had prize presentation and some speech from the Guest-of-Honour, its time for the march pass.


the ever striking yellow flag of the company leading the way. head on out of the parade square to get ready for the main event.


there u are, in the middle of the parade square with the afternoon sun shining upon us. sweat dripping off our faces with out wet no.4 haha. the cue was given by the emcee, as he invited parents and loved ones onto the ground to put on the jockey caps for us.


ah huh! a proud moment i must say when my dad put on the cap. notice the smile =) haha. so the parents were asked to proceed back to their seats and get their cameras ready. then came the moment everyone's been waiting for, the tossing of the caps!


"And here we present to u, the trained soldiers!"were the words which filled the air. caps were tossed and the cluster hugs began. POP oh!! haha 16 wks have come to an end. it spells the beginning of another phase yet again in my NS life. all came as blur as ever, not knowing wat to expect out of army,


and here we are standing as a full-fledged soldier. what the future holds? well no one knows until friday. good or bad, lan lan serve lah ah haha. all the best to all of u in Viper4!

ouch! body aches, legs filled with blisters i can hardly walk, body tanned as ever. all cos of the 24km route march which i survived! wooohooo!! achievement i must say wif tt bloody heavy pack. but hey i made it back yay! maybe i shd go for massage. on 1 wk block leave now. time to wash and clean those dirty equipment eh. plus some time to spare for coffee. so anyone?? haha feel free to call me. i'll be on standby by my hp. im tired and shag now. zzzzz.....
