Peak Hours

One thing that is slowly getting my nerves, peak hours! When the WHOLE world starts work at 9am, what you will get is throngs of people walking at double quick time towards one direction, MRT Station. Chances of getting a seat is near impossible, not that I would wanna sit cos that will bring us to another story so let's not go there.

And then there's irritating acts like refusing to move to the centre of the cabin and die die standing at the spot they "picked" upon boarding the train, refusing to be considerate. Cant they just sympatise with those who are literally squeezed right to the brim at the doors? Horrible people.

Then comes 6pm, when yet again the WHOLE world knocks off from work. Raffles Place is a sight to behold with a gazillion people coming down from their offices to take the freaking train. At the end of a workday, it's a pretty depressing sight with everyone so weary eyed, some trying very hard to close their eyes and sleep while some just stoned, staring into blank space. Truth be told, I wont last a minute if not for music plugged in my ears and eyes reading some papers or book. No joke no joke~

You think that was it? Wrong! SBS Transit during peak hours is the worst! Especially feeder buses. Slow in their frequency as they already are (which shouldnt be the case), usually 2 buses will come at the same time with the front bus packed to the brim and the behind one with only 4 people in them. Like cant they be more efficient considering the feeder bus fare isnt all that cheap either.

Oh and what irritates me further, passengers choosing to sit on the outer side of the seat when the guy standing in front of the fella sitting down is having a hard time standing, like holding on to things equavailent to a year's supplies of groceries and these people just act as though nothing is happening, sitting down "enjoying" the ride back home. Irritating I say.

Every single day, it's wearing me out. Sigh~

P.S. tagboard's down, not that it matters anyway hurhur~
