26 months ago, I embarked on a journey which I should say, changed the whole course of my then beautiful life. I started the journey taking a ferry into an Island Paradise. By right, that Island Trip was to last for only 16 weeks but never did I expect to go through a horrific and gruelling 26 freaking months being stuck in the same old place facing the same old terrains and buildings, I can go around with my eyes closed.
The place left me with lots of bitter sweet memories, the former being experienced ever so often. Nevertheless, the times shared and the bonds fostered will never be forgotten. I'm done. It is also there, that I handed over a possession which is, if you're not a Singaporean guy, taken for granted. Something we call a pink IC.
Today, I got back the pink card. It felt almost surreal having it back after 2 long years. I just smiled all the way til I was at my door step. I'm finally a civilian again =) ORD OH!!
No wonder they say ORD is better than having sex. I so truly understand it now. Hurhur cheers! A homecoming indeed.
