Conversations

Every single day we communicate. Be it with people whom we bother to make a conversation or just some Hi and Bye with some others who don't really matter to our lives. Sometimes these conversations can be very pointless whereas there are others which can be live-changing. Words are such powerful tool depending on how you look at it.

Then there are some conversations which by virtue and power of God, I'm always stuck in. They are the one-way conversations. It's one of those where you ask the questions and the other party answers. And it remained like that throughout. It's irritating but somehow I always get stuck in it, trying my best to somehow keep the conversation alive. Until recently M pointed out that it has always been about herself and nothing about me, that I began to realise, "Hey that's actually true. And no you're not the only one."

Then you begin to wonder, why the hell are you asking and wanting to know so much about others when no one would even bother about you? You can care about the whole damn world but who in the world exactly cares for you? Whenever somebody cares about you, all you think about is that this guy/girl has some ulterior motives for being so nice. Genuine caring-ness doesnt exist anymore?

Convos has to be 2-way for if one-way speeches were to prevail, then I'm afraid you would one day really be talking to you, yourself and your shadow. If everyone lived by the motto of "Self before Others" and strictly stick by it, then you can jolly well lock yourself up in a room and just activate a timebomb attached to yourself. Cause being dead, in this context, is better than being alive and you don't exactly matter anymore.
