Room

It’s that time of the year again when I would do my spring cleaning exercise. This year I was pretty determined to get rid of all the dust which has settled on the top of my cupboards and such and oh my was it high time those untouched places deserved a good vacuuming exercise. The layer of dust was so thick that a red cardboard actually looked grey and blended in well. Yeah that was how bad it was.

Anyway with all good spring cleanings, you are bound to come across certain blast-from-the-past items. I managed to dig up some old Enid Blyton’s storybooks and also some programming codes back from my internship days. I tried reading through them (the codes) and it didn’t make any sense whatsoever. I even developed a user interface for that particular program which I coded. Seriously, I didn’t know I was that smart back then. Haha!

I also came across one particular transparency which I think was used during one of my presentations back in Poly Year 1. Then there were some old newspaper articles which were tucked away in the bottom shelf of my table for some reason back then (not that I could figure it out now). I believe most of our houses are a time capsule in itself. How many times do we actually use the things that we keep?

But nevertheless, my room is now spick and span. Dust free as of now. Everything seems to be in place. Now it feels more like a room. Haha.
