Dehumanization

Technology has evolved so much in the past 10 years that it has changed the way we communicate, especially in the course of our work. Technology plays a very important role in bringing people of all around the world together on one platform.

Conference calls, IMs, social networking, emails are some of the ways we have dehumanized ourselves. I can’t recall the number of people whom I've crossed path with over the years but have never seen them face to face.

Some of these guys I talk to on a daily basis that I feel I know them so well despite not having seen them in real, apart from photos.

This is the reality of life as we know it. A scary thought to this is of course leading an enriching life knowing people from so many different continents when in fact we are actually feeling alone.

So beautiful and handsome people of the world, although the internet has managed to bridge the gaps which would have been impossible to achieve 10 years ago, let’s not lose sight of physical things in life. Get out, be social, live life. There are a lot of other things we could do than staring in front of the screen. Let's move on and be human.
