In life, we tend to have our own ideals in terms of how we envision our future to be like especially in the way we live our life with that special someone. Often times en route to achieving these ideals, we tend to lose the big picture of what love is truly about.
In a relationship, it is usually a give and take approach by both parties to achieve one ultimate aim, happiness. But most relationships fail, amicably or ugly beyond repair, due to selfishness of one or both parties fighting for their own ideals.
At the end of it, most just admit defeat and proclaim that it is not working out for them. While a small minority group chooses to compromise and keep fighting for what they see as the bigger picture, true happiness.
We are all imperfect in our own ways and that is what makes mankind equal. So if we learn to look beyond these imperfections would we then be able to see what lies ahead for us. That's what makes us express our love to our other halves right from the beginning isn't it?
